Titirangi Steiner School Cultivators
What culture are you cultivating? Let's begin right where we are: on this land, with the community we are, for the benefit of the children, within this school, and reaching out to extended relational communities with a forward view to the future. Up to now, there have been a small handful of volunteers, parents, and teachers who have spearheaded gardening, festivals, and building projects at the Titirangi Steiner School. The school was founded and built quite a long time ago (How long?) and during that time the foundational structures are beginning to fail. Rather than taking a short view, a proposal has been put forward to use the resources we already have in building heat-efficient natural buildings. How might there be a reframe in the conversation toward, engagement and opportunities that the Covit-19 break has afforded us? What do we value?
